It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dustin Scott Butler of Douglasville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 7, 2025, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his parents, Terria Reece Butler of Douglasville, GA and Brian Edwin Butler of Worchester, Massachusetts; his son Leo Butler of Dallas, GA; his sister Katie Butler of Douglasville, GA; his girlfriend Jessica Ellis of Griffin, GA; his nephews, Kayoh and Eli; his niece Reece; his aunts and uncles, Angela, Allen Reid, Beth and Troy Rains; his extended family, Jesse and Jill Roberts; and also, Jake, James and Jaxson Roberts.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones-Wynn - Douglas Chapel (2189 Midway Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135). A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.

“My heart goes out to the family to his son Leo, sister Katie mother Terria and father Brian. I had the honor of working with Dustin at Pamarco Inc, in Atlanta. Dustin was my son's close friend ( Bryan and Kevin Drozd) they were all on the High School golf team together, I also enjoyed our golf trips we took. He was like a third son to me.
