It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jeanette Smith of Douglasville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard F. Smith and Pearl Maddox Smith; and her husband William Robert Smith. She is survived by: her children, Karen Walker, Carey Smith (Lizette), Shonna Sherrill and Mike Smith (Dawn). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
