As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Charles Max may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his son-in-law Gary Yerkey; his great grandchild Brooks Yerkey; and his son-in-law Mike Roland. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Jordan; his children, Lynne (Russell Thomas), Leigh (Keith Shadix) and Debbie (Jeff Tobin); and his brother Joe Jordan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Douglasville (5900 Prestley Mill Rd, Douglasville, GA 30135). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made to one of his favorite charities; St. Jude Children's Hospital or Wounded Warrior Foundation.
