He is survived by: his wife Betty Griffin Murphy; his daughters, Shannon Bramblett (Donald) of Carrollton and Ellen Lovins (Russell) of Spring, Texas; his grandchildren, Jason Lovins, Jared Lovins, David Carlsen (Megan) and Alexis McCowen; and his great grandchildren, Brantley Carlsen, Brayden Carlsen and Theo McCowen.
