She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlando Simmons and Hazel Simmons (Fuller); and her siblings, Hazel Dollars (Simmons) and Ronald Simmons. She is survived by: her husband Thomas J. Miles, Jr. (Joseph); her children, Dr. Alanna Bowie (Miles), Marquetta Henderson (Miles), Josette Miles and Glenn Miles; and her siblings, Jeanette Valerie (Simmons) and John Simmons. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; as well as host of family members and friends.
