He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harper and Neva "Evelyn" Nugent Harper; his sisters, Carla Paulk and Vicki Highsmith; his niece Becky Highsmith; and his brothers, Larry Harper and Jerry Harper.
He is survived by: his sons, James D Harper (Ashley) of Oklahoma and Rocky J Harper (Kristy) of Sarasota, FL; his brother George D Harper of Alabama; his grandchildren, Jacob Harper, Caleb Harper, Jesalyn Harper and Joshua Harper; and his niece Carol Hutchison (Ricky) of Ambrose, GA.. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations towards the service and would be greatly appreciated.
