He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Kirkland Mathews of Douglas, GA; his children, Vondal Keith Mathews (Natalie) of Douglas, GA and Carrie Leigh Mathews Redish of Douglas, GA; his sisters, Lita Palmer (Terry) of Pearson, GA, Lenya Wright (Joey) of Ocilla, GA and Mellonie Hobbs of Lancaster, CA; his sister-in-law Peggy Kirkland of Douglas, GA; and his grandchildren, Haden Redish of Douglas, GA and Ansley Redish. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
