He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Payne of Douglas and Daniel Payne (Courtney) of Middleburg; his grandchildren, Brantly, Cameron, Faith, Grace, Brooklyn, Kylee, Jay, Paislee, Nate, Savannah and Jackson; the mother of his children Elizabeth Payne of Douglas, Georgia; his close friend Jo Ann Strong; his siblings, Billy Payne of Douglas, Richard Payne of Douglas and Linda P. Long of Holland; and also, Christy Goodwin of Orange Park, Florida and Chase Strong of Douglas, Georgia.
