She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Thomas Miller and Mary Bell Steverson Miller; her husband Hilsman Tift Sumner; her son Stephen Harvey McClendon; her stepson Joe Glenn Sumner; and her siblings, Ike D. Miller, John A. Miller, Archie Jr. Miller, Thomas W. Miller, Grady Miller, Agnes Dyess, Lena Guess and Hazel Davis.
She is survived by: her nieces, Mary Johnson and Brenda Davis; her nephew Jimmy Johnson; and her stepdaughters, Cindy Carter (Ron) of Chapman and Sabrina Shiver (Steven) of St. Simons. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren; and several other nieces, nephews and other relatives.
