With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sara Jo Davis of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on January 25, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Irwin Slocumb and Sara Louise Taylor Slocumb; her children, Elizabeth Curry (Tom) of Augusta, GA, Art Davis Jr. (Julie) of Douglas, GA and David Davis (Connie) of Douglas, GA; her grandchildren, Daniel Davis (Amanda) of North Port, FL, Lindsey Tucker (John) of Hanover, MD, Kevin Davis (Nikki) of Douglas, GA, Amanda Davis (Jaye) of Douglas, GA, Zachary Anderson of Douglas, GA and Rachael Anderson of Pearson, GA; and her great grandchildren, Finn Tucker, Lucas Davis, Zoey Davis, Simon Davis, Nolan Davis, Jones Davis and David Albert.
In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to First United Methodist Preschool or First United Methodist Project Munch.
