He is survived by: his wife Anne Marie Bryant Peterson (Bryant); his grandchildren, Leighton Leavens of Douglas, Rhys Peterson of Douglas, Avary Layne Leavens of Douglas, Ellivia Leavens of Douglas, Amelia Leavens of Douglas, Lawson Peterson of Douglas and Sadie Peterson of Douglas; his sister Patricia Evans of Douglas; his parents-in-law, Wendell Bryant and Lucy Bryant of Douglas; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Batten, Keith Bryant (Gina), Mary Preston (Bryan), Lucy Warren (Richard) and Sue Farmer. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be made to the Hanna Family Cancer Center at CRMC, Lone Hill Church, Morningside Baptist Church, or Carver Baptist Church.
