We are sad to announce that on May 27, 2024, at the age of 102, Richard McLeroy of Douglas, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Richard departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Richard may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Richard leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom McLeroy and Wylle McLeroy; his wife Louise McLeroy; and his great grandchild Wyatt Melton. He is survived by: his children, Carol McLeroy of Douglas, GA and Thomas McLeroy of Douglas, GA; his granddaughter Jennifer Brown; his great grandchildren, Cadyn Melton and Chandler Melton; and his sister-in-law Jean Parrish. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
