He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Hancocck and Cora Minchew Hancock. He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann, C. Griffin, Ricky Hancock, Debbie (David Dunbar) and Cheryl Hancock (Patrick Metze); his grandsons, Billy, Phillip, David (Robin), John (Christina), Joseph, Samuel and William; and his great grandchildren, Mary Joanna, Annsleigh, Kaitlyn, Rylee and Lincoln.

He donated deer meat for that same food bank.
