She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Edward Cothren Sr. and Pearlie Florence Little Cothren; her husband Rev. Winston Wright; and her siblings, Lucille Crosby, Christine Whitley and Aaron Cothren Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Wright (Beth) of Ambrose, GA, Karen Wright Spivey of Axson, GA, Angie Portwood (Chris) of Smyrna, GA and Candace Crosby (Tanker) of Lake Park, GA; her grandchildren, Morgan Bernard Spivey, Jonathan Winston Wright, Caris Nicole Ruis, Walton Virgil Spivey, Jordan Wesley Wright, Cammi Lee Ruis, Chace Christopher Ruis and Anslee Reagan Portwood; her stepgrandchildren, Trevor Crosby, Broxton Crosby and Aubren Crosby Doyle; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Blakely, Walker, Blair, Case, Wayden Crosby, Lane, Brenlee and Isaac Doyle; and her sister Betty C. Pridgen of Pridgen, GA. She is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM at the Sims Funeral Home (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Jowers Chapel (1151 Jowers Chapel Rd, Douglas, GA 31535).
