It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mae Lizzie Rogers of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on March 14, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Crockett and Lizzie Crockett; her siblings, Johnnie Crockett, Jannie Martin, Jeraldine Brown, Marie Crockett, Pearl Higdon and Carrie Grady; and her niece Dessie Bornes.
She is survived by: her daughter Joyce Rogers (George Atuobi); her brothers, McKinley Crockett and Allen Crockett; and her grandchildren, Akua, Adjoa, Abena and Jackson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.
