She is survived by: her father Bill Poindexter; her sons, Kevin Tyre (Dray), Herschel Tyre (Tim) and Lamar Tyre; her caregiver George Shenk of Jesup; and her sisters, Nita Poindexter of Jesup and Tina Brantley (Warnell) of Jesup. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
