She was predeceased by: her parents, George Zub Pruitt and Lula Bell Steptoe Pruitt; her husband Henry Daniel Bush; and her son Kyle Daniel Bush. She is survived by: her sons, Henry Scott Bush of Douglas, GA and Patrick Lee Bush of Douglas, GA; and her brother Wilford Pruitt of Douglas, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sims Funeral Home (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home, Inc. (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533). A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Central Baptist Church Cemetery (748 Central Baptist Church Rd, Douglas, GA 31533).
