He was predeceased by: his parents, John Leslie Hampton and Ethel Cooper Hampton; his brothers, Ed Lott and John Hampton; his half-siblings, Alton Taylor and Geraldine Taylor; his son-in-law Donnie Rabon; and his great grandchild Rihanna Shivers.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Norman Hampton of Douglas, GA; his daughters, Lisa Hampton of Mississippi, Vickie Hines of Mississippi, Darlene Rabon of Mississippi, Sheryl Bohannon of Hazelhurst, GA, Emily Forett of Douglas, GA and Diane Roberson of Douglas, GA; his sister Margaret Hampton of Douglas, GA; and his half-sisters, Lorraine Bookout of Douglas, GA and Irene Taylor of Miami, FL. He is also survived by 17 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren, 19 Great-Great Grandchildren.
