She was predeceased by: her parents, Leota Parrett and Ray Perkins; her son Thomas Rowe Jr.; and her siblings, Shirley Ingle and Steve Perkins.
She is survived by: her husband Jose Alvarez; her daughters, Julia Humphrey (Jimmy) and Sylvia Taylor (John) of Douglas, GA; her grandchildren, Mario Onofre Jr., Elizabeth Guzman (Emmanuel), Caitlin Thurman (George) and Diego Sosol (Angela Jordan); her great grandchildren, Denver Thurman, Leigha Onofre and Natalie Onofre; and her siblings, Lisa Ingle (Bob), Karen Goley and Ernie Parrott. She is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sims Funeral Home (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home, Inc. (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533). An entombment was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 3:30 PM at the Sims Funeral Home (201 N Peterson Ave, Douglas, GA 31533).
