He was predeceased by: his parents, George Henderson Day and Annie Mae Jackson Day. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Griffis Day of Douglas, GA; his children, David Hester (Ja Ja) of Douglas, GA, Darrell Hester (Star) of Jacksonville, FL, Bobby Day of Kathleen, GA, Chris Day (Deloris) of Ft Valley, GA, Lisa Powell (Marty) of Warner Robins, GA and Kathy Johnson of Rockmark, GA; and his sister Betty Carroll Smith of Douglas, GA. He is also survived by 10 Grand Children, 12 Great Grandchildren and Several Nieces and Nephews.
