He was predeceased by: his parents, James Davis and Bet Davis. He is survived by: his wife Fran Davis (Fifty) of Douglas, GA; his sons, Matt Davis (Lydia) of Broxton, GA and Mark Davis (Shannon) of Broxton, GA; his grandchildren, Cameron Davis, Emily Davis, Sarah Davis and Allie Davis; his brother Larry Davis (Wendy) of Brunswick, GA; and his siblings-in-law, John and Sarah McDougle of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by sons, daughter in laws, and grandchildren.
