It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hettie Kitchens of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Monroe Smith and Leona Gertrude Smith; her husband Jessie Kitchen; and her sons, Billy Wendell Lott and Jimmy Lott.
She is survived by: her brother Alton Smith of Waynesville, MO; and her niece Bonnie Brown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
