Harold James Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 10, 2025, at the age of 83, Harold James of Douglas, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Harold shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Harold farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubree James and Vada Kight James; and his brother Tommie James. He is survived by: his wife Grace M. James of Douglas; and his son Ard James of Savannah.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (407 E Ward St, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Douglas, Ga. or to South Georgia State College.
