She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Bernice Royal and Ella Carter Royal; her husband R. C. Reed; and her siblings, Sadie Royal Worth, Essie Royal Thomas, D. B. Royal, James Royal, Lafayette Royal, Vernan Royal, Willie Royal, Vonell Royal Tallmage, Earlie Royal and Pearlie Royal.
She is survived by: her daughter Theresa Reed Mazzer (Lawrence) of Douglas, Georgia; her grandchildren, Amanda Cumbass of Douglas, Christian Crumbley (Chad) of Newnan, Rachel Lowe (Adam) of Cleveland and Sandi Young of Douglas, Georgia; her great grandchildren, Kelsey Metts (Tyler), Kanler Cumbass, Zane Cumbass, Blaine Lowe, Avri Lowe, Maddox Lowe, Quinn Lowe, Macy Crumbley, Mazzer Young, Ryker Josey, Gatlin Smith and Kawanzi Baker; and her sisters, Janet Wittkamp of Savannah and Eloise Gattis of Conyers, Georgia. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ricketson Funeral Home (305 W Ward St, Douglas, GA 31533). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Ward Church of God (700 W Ward St, Douglas, GA 31533). A burial will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at the Douglas City Cemetery (1622 N Gaskin Ave, Douglas, GA 31533).
