It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Taylor of Douglas, Georgia, born in Ambrose, Georgia, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Purvis and Henrietta Cribb Purvis; and her son Albert Taylor. She is survived by: her daughter Linda Taylor of Douglas, Georgia; her grandchildren, Hayle Davenport, Amanda Taylor, Billy Lee Taylor, Jr. and Kevin Taylor; her great grandchild Koen Davenport; and her sons, Roy Lee Taylor and Billy Lee Taylor Sr..
