He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Roy Deese and Clara Cason Deese; his wife Dorothy "Dottie" Deese; his siblings, Lucille Deese Ott and Monroe Deese (Ann); and his grandson Forrest.
He is survived by: his children, Bonita "Bonnie" Carter (Richard) of Kingsland, GA, Tina Miller Jenkins (Anthony) of Denton, GA, Tonya Diaz of Douglas, GA, Stacy Dillard (Jimmy) of Danbury, NC, Ernest Paul Miller, Jr. (Althea) of Douglas, GA and Damon Deese of Atlanta, GA. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (279 Benjamin H Hill Dr W, Fitzgerald, GA 31750).
