He was predeceased by: his parents, Othel Harper and Geraldine Smith Harper; and his wife Maxine Rowell Harper. He is survived by: his son Kevin Harper (Belinda) of Douglas, GA; his siblings, Sandra Weidner (Ron) of Gray, GA, Debra Deen (Paul) of Alma, GA and Ottis Harper of Douglas, GA; his grandchildren, James Logan Harper and Claire Maxine Harper; and his close friend Barbara Ricketson (Harper). He is also survived by Several Nieces and nephews.
