He is survived by: his wife Sharon McCartney Butcher Carver of Douglas, GA; his stepdaughters, Renae Sutton (Roger) of Douglas, GA, Sharona Thigpen (Jesse) of Douglas, GA and Brianna Bowen (David) of Douglas, GA; and his sister Maudie Lynell Corbitt of Waycross, GA. He is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
