She was predeceased by: her mother Mildred Justice; her husband Steve Carter of Carter's Fried Chicken; her father Douglas Justice; and her son Michael Carter. She is survived by: her son Kevin Carter (Heather) of Douglas, GA; her brother Mitchell Justice (Janet) of Nicholls, GA; her grandchildren, Megan Anderson (Josh) of Douglas, Mikey Carter of Douglas and Haley Spires of Douglas; and her great grandchildren, Ella Anderson of Douglas, GA., Daxton Anderson of Douglas, GA. and Atleigh Anderson of Douglas, GA.. She is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Douglas Christian Fellowship Church (2761 E Baker Hwy, Douglas, GA 31535). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at the Douglas City Cemetery (1622 N Gaskin Ave, Douglas, GA 31533).
