She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Charles Murphree, Sr. and Ethel Louise Green Murphree; and her brother Leland Charles Murphree, Jr.. She is survived by: her son Dr. Richard Lance Willis of Sahuarita, AZ..
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021).
