She was predeceased by: her husband Eldridge "Red" Johnson; her parents, Mae Newsome and Kermit Newsome; her siblings, Thelma Kelley, Lila McClure, Estelle Sharpe and Ron Newsome; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Johnson.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith and Phillip; her grandchildren, Hayden Johnson and Alyssa; and also Carla. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
