He was predeceased by: his father Nelson Ambrose; his half-brother Emory Huster; his former wife Mary Marlene Thompson; and his daughter Suzanne Brockenbrough. He is survived by: his sister Joan; his brother-in-law Herb Brent; his half-brother Charles; his wife Lucille; his son Kenneth "Pete" Thompson- (Carol) of Georgia; and his stepdaughters, Shirley Cook- of Georgia and Janet Helm- (David) of Oklahoma. He is also survived by many beautiful grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
