He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolfo Zuniga and Thomasa Zuniga; and his brothers, Vito Zuniga, David Zuniga, Tony Zuniga and Richard Zuniga.
He is survived by: his wife Noreen Zuniga; his children, Joshua T. Zuniga, Daniel J. Zuniga, II (Michelle) and Katherine Allen (Sam); his siblings, Edward Zuniga (Dorothy), Theresa Pryor and Dora Jones; and his grandchildren, Lauren Allen, Emily Allen, Olivia Allen, Zoe Zuniga, Hailey Zuniga, Natalie Zuniga and Daniel Joseph Zuniga III.
