He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Lawrence Owens and Eunice Harrell Owens; his brothers, Cecil Owens and Junior Owens; his children, Tommy Owens, Terry Owens, Elizabeth Owens and Timmy Owens; and his grandson Joshua Owens.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Moore Owens of Donalsonville, GA; his children, Wilbur Lee Owens, Jr. (Bonnie) of Chattanooga, TN, Clarence Richard Christopher of Donalsonville, GA, Anthony Glenn Christopher of Donalsonville, GA, David Allen Wrenn (Barbara) of Morehaven, FL and Marie Griffin (Dale) of Donalsonville, GA; and his siblings, Doris Wesley of Illinois, Pearl Maxwell of Bainbridge, GA, Patsy Blair of Bainbridge and Tony Page (Theda) of Dublin, GA.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren.
