He is survived by: his wife Lois Brenda Thrift Gordon of Donalsonville, GA; his children, Kimberly Sloan (Joe) of Greenville, TX, Cristy Ipock of Palatka, FL, Beverly Dixon (Brian) and Frank Heller of Nevada; his brothers, Buddy Gordon (Marilyn) of Iron City, GA, Nathan Gordon of Blakely, GA and Ray Gordon of Donalsonville, GA.; and his grandchildren, Kevin Davis (Nisha), Corey Davis (Kelcey), Mackenzie Carle, Cheyenne Carle, Ava Carle, Jade Sloan, Ashley Cresler (Dylan), Justin Dixon and Brittany Crigger (Tyler). He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Evans-Skipper Funeral Home (909 S Tennille Ave, Donalsonville, GA 39845). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
