He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Bennett and Edna Nolte Bennett; his wife Mary Louise Morefield Bennett; his siblings, Lester Bennett, Delbert Bennett, Alson Bennett, Vivian Wiggins, Opal Johnson and Fanchion Drew; and his son Roger Bennett.
He is survived by: his daughter Rita Bennett-Daugherty (James); and his daughter-in-law Janet Bennett. He is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and five great great grandchildren.
