She was predeceased by: her parents, George Branch and Lula Tipton Branch; her husband Pasco Whittaker; her daughter Linda Wilson; her son-in-law Ken; her stepson Henry McDonald; her stepson-in-law Wesley Brown; and her siblings, T. O., Troy Branch, Juanita McClendon, Evelyn Nix, Myrtice Cowart, Wannie Burdett and Margaret Lorenz.
She is survived by: her former husband Grady McDonald; her sons, George Whittaker (Deborah) of Donalsonville and Mark Whittaker (Denean) of Thomasville; her grandchild Lanette Griffin (Burt) of Cashiers, NC.; her stepchildren, Faye Brown of Cusseta and David McDonald (Denean) of Hohenwald, TN; and her sisters-in-law, Sophie Earnest of Donalsonville and Kate Mitchell of Jakin. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Evans-Skipper Funeral Home (909 S Tennille Ave, Donalsonville, GA 39845). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
