It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Chapman of Donalsonville, Georgia, born in Sale City, Georgia, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie C. Chapman and Julia Mae Crosby Chapman; his former wife Dean Wilkes Chapman; his siblings, W. L. Chapman, Marie McCook, Everlein Scarborough, Denzil Chapman and David Chapman; his great grandchild Tyler Revis; and his stepchildren, Paula Cook and Troy Giovenvo.
He is survived by: his children, Charlene, Wayne, Dennis and Toni Chapman; his grandchildren, Chris Chapman (Molly), Steven Chapman (Caylen), Jennifer Lamar (Chris), Peri Chapman, Chad McKernan (Erin) and Taylor Revis; his sister Dazie Shiver; his wife Barbara Chapman; and his stepdaughters, Natasha Wells and Traci Rutland.
