It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Jones of Donalsonville, Georgia, who passed away on August 17, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearlie Bryant and Alfonda Jones Sr.; his child Erza Jones; his grandson Eric Jones; his siblings, Alfonda Jones Jr. (Nancy), Castoria Jones, Mary Wynn (Henry) and Margaret Haire; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Lane, James Williams and Mary Jones.
He is survived by: his spouse Leomie Williams; his children, McKenzie Jones (Elzaree) of Donalsonville, Nathaniel Jones of Donalsonville, Emmett Jones (Rosa) of Miami, FL, Zora Jones (Celhomme Jeanfrancois) of Miami, FL, Lisa Jones of Donalsonville and Melissa Jones of Donalsonville; his grandchildren, Patrick Jones, McKenzie Jones Jr. (Kizzy), Jerrod Powell (Raven), Anthony Jones, LaToya Price (Dexter), Emmett Jones Jr., Tamara Efford (Darryl), Celhomme Jeanfrancois Jr., Rickey Jeanfrancois (Jalisha), Chingva Jeanfrancois, Antawan Jones (Kartna), LaDarias Taylor, Anthony Taylor III, Jordyn Blanks, Ezra Jones Jr. and Erika Rambo (Chris); and his siblings, R. C. Jones of Gordon, AL, Bernice Lane of Miami, FL, Gloria Williams of St. Petersburg, FL, Louise Bush (Charles) of Donalsonville and Annie Jones of Donalsonville. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, loved ones and devoted friends.
