It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Danny E. McLendon of Donalsonville, Georgia, who passed away on December 7, 2024, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Danny leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene McLendon and Mary Lillian Ingram McLendon. He is survived by: his wife Sandra McLendon of Donalsonville, GA; his children, Stephanie Atkinson (Brian) of Athens, GA, Jeremy McLendon of Donalsonville, GA and Tracy West (Kenneth); and his brother-in-law Charles Chandler (Brenda) of Wadley, AL.. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.
