She was predeceased by: her parents, Garvice Herring and Belle Regan Herring; her brothers, Louie Herring and Harold Herring; the father of her children Sam Brookins; and her daughter-in-law Debbie Brookins.
She is survived by: her sons, Rev. Mylan Brookins (Kathy) of Donalsonville, GA and Anthony Brookins of Murphy, NC; her grandchildren, Matthew Brookins (Whitney) of Calhoun, GA, Kristin Worsley (Ryan) of Sugar Grove, IL, Amanda Pumphrey (Nick) of Kansas, Allison Brookins of Murphy, NC and Leighton Brookins (Colin) of Donalsonville, GA; and her sisters, Marilyn Ginn of Royston, GA and Deborah Graham of Hiawassee, GA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakview Church of God (5317 Harrell Moye Rd, Donalsonville, GA 39845). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
