He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Kinsey Downing, Sr. and Kathleen Jefferson Downing. He is survived by: his wife Greer Chapman Downing; his children, Savannah Downing, Macy Spetalieri (Tony) and Nick Downing; and his sisters, Charlotte Floyd (David) and Beverly George (Mike).
