She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lonnie Jernigan and Helen Elizabeth Spann Jernigan. She is survived by: her brother Jim Jernigan; her sister-in-law India Jernigan; her daughters, Leigh Stanford and Sabrina Falkenhagen; her son-in-law Jay Falkenhagen; her grandchildren, Taylor Rhea Barton, Elizabeth Chaseley Dutch and Andrew Stanford Kinchen; her son-in-law Allen Robert Dutch; and her former husband Edwin Wayne Stanford (Karen Stanford).
