She was predeceased by: her parents, J. L. O'Neal and Geneva Hunter O'Neal; her husband Harold Wilkes; her siblings, Troy O'Neal, Brenda O'Neal Corbin and Pat O'Neal Goodlett; and her sister-in-law Barbara Cook.

She is survived by: her niece Terri Corbin of Doerun; her stepsons, Todd Wilkes (Michelle) of Thomasville and Ted Wilkes (Heather) of Douglas; her granddaughter Cheyanne Wilkes; her sisters-in-law, Mary Jo Currie (Adolphus) of Florida and Eloise O'Neal of Fruitland Park, FL; and her nieces and nephews, Troy O'Neal (Becky) of Moultrie, Richard "Bubba" Turpen (Julie) of Louisiana, Wendy Correa (Seraphin) of Tyler, TX, Susan O'Neal Crosby (Victor) of Fruitland Park, FL. and Nancy O'Neal of Moultrie, GA.

Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, private graveside rites will be held Monday, April 13, 2020 at Cobb Suncrest Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jill Willingham officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Doerun.
