We are sad to announce that on February 24, 2019, at the age of 88, Mary Ann Sutton Whitfield (Doerun, Georgia), born in Whatley, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Sutton and Lucille Sutton; her daughters, Mary Susan McSwain and Zella Teresa Whitfield; and her granddaughter Katie McSwain.
She is survived by: her children, Butler Burgess Whitfield, Jr. (Marybeth) of Hinesville, Debra Whitfield Sanders (Steve Stripling) of Moultrie, Dalton Joseph Whitfield of Doerun and Melissa Whitfield Varley of New Providence; and her sister Jocille Robison of Whatley. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
