With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret McCarty McDowell of Doerun, Georgia, who passed away on November 14, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Marvin McCarty and Avie Ann Wingate McCarty; and her siblings, Ralph McCarty and Jerry Sims. She is survived by: her husband Emory Gordon McDowell; her son Marvin Emory McDowell of Doerun; her brother Marvin Lamar McCarty (Joyce) of Decatur, TN; her grandchildren, Marvin Andrew McDowell of Autreyville and Callie Ann Bell of Bay; and her great grandchildren, Jake Andrew Bell, Max Thomas Bell, Ellie Gail Bell and Chloe Jean Adams.
Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.
