He was predeceased by: his parents, George Frank Saunders and Ruby Lee Pierce Saunders; his parents-in-law, Earlie and Dell Gay; his brother George Saunders (Sonny); and his great grandchild Olivia Mobley.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Marie Gay of Doerun; his children, Judy Saunders Mobley (Mark) and Jim Saunders (Lisa); his grandchildren, John Mark Mobley (Rebecca), Matthew Mobley (Genna), Tyler Mobley (Lindsay), Daniel Mobley, Jay Saunders and Anna Marie Saunders; his great grandchildren, Elle, Jack, James, Kate, Ruby and Mary Tyler Mobley; and his close friends, Lamar Marshall and Freddie Simons. He is also survived by several brothers and sisters-in law, nieces, and nephews.

Social distancing guidelines will be followed, and masks are recommended.
