He is survived by: his wife Thelma Hembree of Doerun, GA; his sons, Jimmy Hembree (Donna), Darrell Hembree (Dianne), Donald Hembree (Carrie), Jeffery Hembree and Dennis Hembree; and his siblings, Alice Striplin and Ted Russell. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
