He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Cleckler and Clara Harold Cleckler; his brother Bruce Cleckler; and his brother-in-law Wally Bridges. He is survived by: his wife Gerri Bridges Cleckler of Doerun; his daughter Charissa Cleckler Pritchett (Malcom) of Cartersville, Georgia; his grandchildren, Bailey, Della and Sonny Cate; his sisters, Phyllis Cleckler of Dalton, Sandra Mayles of Las Vegas and Diane Findley (Jerry) of Royston, Georgia; his brother-in-law Cliff Bridges (Beth) of Doerun; and his close friends, Craig Stephens (Teresa) of Milledgeville and Duane Loftus of Cartersville. He is also survived by several aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a private graveside service will be held on Friday, May 1, 2020 at Westview Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Woods and Rev. Matt Peek officiating.
