He was predeceased by: his parents, James Allison Gregory and Clara Kathleen Brumbelow Gregory; his wife Winona Hortman Gregory; his daughter Pamela Diane Gregory; and his siblings, Ray Gregory and Eunice Boatwright.

He is survived by: his son Timothy Wayne Gregory (Lori) of Doerun; his grandchildren, Taylor Gregory and Dawson Gregory; his pet Monkey; and his close friend Mickey Crowell.
